I've noticed lockups twice now while configuring kwin under wayland, so I'm
filing a bug to track. I don't have logs (please let me know where to look and
I can try to find) currently.
1) Right clicked on firefox titlebar, more actions, configure special
application settings, configured to remove titlebar, apply -> lockup
2) Settings, virtual desktops, added 10, apply -> lockup
In both cases, I wasn't able to alt-ctrl-del or alt-sysrq reisub; the latter
seems like the kernel may have been impacted.
I haven't encountered similar lockups doing anything else, so it seems
correlated with kwin configuration.
This is Kubuntu 21.10, 4:5.22.5-0ubuntu1.
