SUMMARY
Since upgrading to kwin-5.23.4 on Gentoo, logging in results in a white/gray
screen. If I move the mouse around I can tell it changes shape when it passes
over windows from my saved session. If I disable compositing with the keyboard
shortcut, I can see the desktop again. This setup worked well with
kwin-5.22.5.
This seems independent of plasma, trying LXQT with kwin results in the same.
This is an old 32bit Dell D820 laptop, with nvidia quadro nvs 110M. I'm
running a 4.19 LTS kernel with nouveau. The system is otherwise up to date
with the exception of the older kernel series.
