Bug ID: 448547
Summary: Karbon svg
Product: karbon
Version: unspecified
Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
Karbon is able to open and modify .svgz (compressed SVG images) but when I'm
trying to save them I get an error that says "Could not export file" with a
title "Missing export filter". My guess is that my Karbon installation is
missing some filter (version 3.2.1) but haven't been able to find what exactly
is missing neither in the documentation or the gitlab.
I first noticed the error trying to open an existing file but the same error
can be seen just by creating a new file and trying to save it as .svgz
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new file
2. Draw anything
3. Try to save as test.svgz
OBSERVED RESULT
An error title "Missing Export Filter". Text: "Could not export file".
EXPECTED RESULT
The file gets saved.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
First time using Karbon (and not much experience with svg) so I might be doing
something wrong, any pointers in that case are appreciated!
