I tried to capture the ser file both from the Ekos interface button and directly from the Indi tab panel straight. And in this latter case I tried both: with streaming off and streaming on. Also I noticed that almost all the time it looks like as it fails to close the streaming recording job because if you try to repeat the recording (or change other settings) the log message says the the recording device is busy (something like that) and the only way is to disconnect and restart.
