STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open clip in full screen
2. set in and out
3. press Insert Clip in Timeline (in my case i set it to "B" hotkey)
OBSERVED RESULT
throws you out into timeline
EXPECTED RESULT
keep staying in FS
