As for what you're asking for, I think you can self-satisfy by pinning the Colors KCM to your task Manager, Panel, or Desktop in the way I suggested. That would let you access it in one click, and then quickly double-click on the desired color scheme to apply it. That's still pretty fast. Beyond that, I think adding support for exactly what you want via a 1st-party applet is a bit too niche.
