One can use the Vimium or Vimium C like extensions on Chrome or Firefox to
navigate the browser efficiently using keyboard. Just press F and all clickable
links on a webpage will be assigned a letter combination. Pressing the letter
combination gives is equivalent to clicking the link. A similar feature existed
(exists?) on Konqueror by the name of "Access Keys".
Pressing gi takes one to the first search box on the page. There are many such
shortcuts which these extensions offer. The same shortcuts can be used for pdf
navigation as well.
