SUMMARY
When I set my menu fonts to be bold, they are applied as normal until I restart
the application.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to System Settings → Appearance → Fonts
2. Select a menu font, say Arial Bold
3. Click Apply
OBSERVED RESULT
The menus in open applications change to Arial of the right size, but it is not
bold. Restart the application, and the menus are bold.
EXPECTED RESULT
All properties of fonts apply correctly to open applications the moment I click
Apply.

Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 35, KDE packages built from rawhide
(available in About System)
