SUMMARY
Not sure If I'm reporting this in the correct place, but when using the
application launcher that opens by clicking on the desktop opens the desktop
file in the default text editor instead of opening the desired application.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable application menu on desktop
2. Open any application
OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop file opens in default text editor.
EXPECTED RESULT
Application opens.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSUSE Tumbleweed
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Have not tested on x11, bug experienced under wayland.
