Jebin <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|0 |1 Resolution|INTENTIONAL |--- Status|RESOLVED |REOPENED CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #5 from Jebin <[email protected]> --- I'm reopening this bug after a small discussion with the community at reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/sycuom/adding_connect_disconnect_button_in_network/ Here's a reason copied from reddit: "The applet in settings feels incomplete without a connect disconnect option. For example, if I wanted to add a vpn connection, I had to add the vpn connection in the settings, then come to the system tray and then test whether my settings work. Its true that for some users (including the old me :P) , the idea that they would find the vpn connections in the system tray itself may be foreign and hence feel lost after adding a connection. May be adding vpn connection is not something a fresh user would do but still a visible button in the settings will feel a lot more friendlier. Or at least, that's my take on this!" My suggestion is to add a connect/disconnect button similar to the one in system tray next to the connection name. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
