The bug is still present in kwin-5.24.4, and in 71c93ff6a56eb6b0e4f, and in commit 71c93ff6a56eb6b0e4f with d4068754c9 (cherry picked from 8e05732670) reverted. So 8e05732670 "x11: Fix shrinking window size after toggling no border ..." is not the problem.
