Bug ID: 452862 Summary: Rendered output is choppy when video profile is changed upon dragging in content Product: kdenlive Version: 22.04.0 Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: t...@churchrenewal.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** NOTE: If you are reporting a crash, please try to attach a backtrace with debug symbols. See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** The render output is not smooth. I have resorted to using other programs but would like to keep using Kdenlive if this was fixed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a fresh project. Reset Kdenlive settings from help menu. 2. Drag in a Zoom recording (640x360 25fps) 3. Kdenlive asks to change the profile to 640x360 25fps. Accept that change. 4. Make a cut in the video and delete part of the video. 5. Render it to mp4 with all the default settings. OBSERVED RESULT The rendered video is stuttery and choppy. EXPECTED RESULT A properly rendered video. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Fedora 35 using x11 and not Wayland.
