STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set mouse (trackball) to left handed
2. Lock screen; unlock screen
OBSERVED RESULT
Mouse is right handed, despite "left" still being checked in kcontrol
EXPECTED RESULT
Mouse buttons should be stable
