I have a few questions: 1. Is the layout always reset such that the items are in alphabetical order, with folders before files? 2. Are you using a laptop or a desktop? 3. How many screens do you have connected, 4. In your ~/.config/plasmashellrc file, does the contents of the "[ScreenConnectors]" section change after you reboot? 5.
