I cannot reproduce this with the latest Elisa version (either 22.04 or master)
on a german system.
What I am seeing instead is that while the correct page is displayed on
startup, nothing can be played / added to the playlist from that page.
For example, if I set the start page to album view, then I cannot hit play on
any album (nothing happens, no terminal output). Elisa also gets somewhat
sluggish at that point. Even switching to a different view and back doesn't fix
this, however, if I click a play button in a different view (e. g. artists),
THEN go back to album view, the album play buttons work again.
