Bug ID: 454587 Summary: Re: kdeconnect - audio streaming - Phone Microphone for Desktop Product: kdeconnect Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: android-application Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com Reporter: n...@n-tier.com Target Milestone: --- Re: kdeconnect - audio streaming - Phone Microphone for Desktop for details see https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=121902 This feature makes a ton of sense, especially given that voice recognition is getting evermore popular and you can now search Google and other cool stuff on your desktop, which you need a good mic for. This very useful feature was requested in 2014 and seems like a fairly straight forward thing to accomplish - especially given everything else KDEConnect can now do, so just wondering why has it not been done? EXPECTED RESULT That I could use my Android Phone to work as a mic on my KDE Desktop / Chrome / Voice recognition app, etc. This Mic / App output would show up in my Audio settings so I could select it as my primary recording input, etc. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - KDEConnect is a great tool - thanks for developing and supporting this software! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
