Bug ID: 454636 Summary: Dolphin seems to more readily copy/move files into folders than before when dragging/dropping Product: dolphin Version: 22.04.1 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: ehrich.we...@gmail.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** When I'd previously try to copy/move files from one pane to another, if the pane was filled with directories I used to be able to place the cursor over a blank area and as long as there was no text(or that seemed to be the trigger) I could release the mouse button and it'd drop into the root folder. Now it doesn't seem very clear where you can drop a file to get it to drop into the root folder. Dropping it into a blank area will now put it in the folder under your cursor. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Drag/drop file into another pane 2. File will drop into folder that is on the line your cursor is over(if that makes sense) OBSERVED RESULT File drops into folder even if you aren't over the folder name EXPECTED RESULT File drops into the root folder as long as you're not over the text of the folder's name.
