SUMMARY
The "Show your messages on the right" feature doesn't work as expected, and
only works in specific circumstances.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Case A:
1. Have the feature enabled in the settings
2. Increase the width of neochat to be very wide
3. Notice how your own messages jump from right to left on a certain width
Case B:
1. Have the feature enabled in the settings
2. Enable "Compact mode" in the appearance settings
3. Notice how none of your messages are shown on the right.
OBSERVED RESULT
Your own messages aren't shown on the right, even though the feature is
enabled.
EXPECTED RESULT
Since the feature is enabled, the messages should appear on the right.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Apparently this seems to be intentional, although I'm not quite sure why.
