By default Dolphin's build in Konsole window (F4) is on the bottom: Change the layout to the right side 2. Enter the split view (F3) so th 3. Open the Konsole window (F4), so that Konsole's window is not too wide 4. Make the Konsole window maximal wide, i.e. resize it to the left end If was already maximal wide, resize (shrinkt) it a little bit 5.
