SUMMARY
This started happening after an update (Plasma 5.24.90 → 5.25.0, Frameworks
5.94 → 5.95). See the attached screenshot.
The launcher first opened at the center of the screen, but then I moved it next
to the panel with Meta+drag, and it seems to have remembered that position.
The problem persists across reboots. There are no weird special window rules
that would cause this.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. None, just installing the update…

Kickoff behaves as usual
