I checked the patch again. This patch never automatically grouped the items in
the view to RAW and JPG. As now, the items must be selected manually. So the
same behavior as it is now also available. You can select all items in the view
and choose group by filename.
The patch cannot be applied due to the changes in the current code and for the
reasons mentioned (use of Boost and regular expression for end users).
