I understand that this must be a very frustrating issue, but let's try to avoid
being insulting. See

Some questions:
1. Does the app actually launch correctly, but it just doesn't appear on the
Task Manager? Or does it fail to launch entirely?
2. Is this happening on X11 or Wayland?
3. What are you launching the app from that reproduces this issue?
Kickoff/Kicker? KRunner? A global shortcut? A pinned Task Manager item? All of
them?
