Use the compose key to type special characters OBSERVED RESULT In some applications, the compose key works as expected. In other applications, the compose key does not do anything: if I press the compose key, the next couple keystrokes will be "eaten" (no letters typed, special characters or otherwise), and then typing resumes normally. Tested applications where it works: KWrite, Dolphin, Discover, and any OS level UI (search bars etc.) Tested applications where it does not work: Firefox, Thunderbird, VSCode, Signal EXPECTED RESULT Compose key should work in all applications where text can be entered SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
