The app actually can show a cancellation action in the ticket context menu
already if we get that from data extraction (which I don't think is the case
for any national railway operator at the moment). If there is a reliable URL
scheme for that (e.g. depending on the reservation number), that could be added
to the extractor scripts.

Once we have that, the proposed higher-level workflows make sense as well. And
we need more reliable reach/miss and departure/arrival detection for other
features as well.
