I am now getting repeatable error pattern:
Boot to plasma screen works OK. Cadence does not complete and appears on
screen. Manual completion of ALSA audio for "Alsa->Loop=->Jack" and close
Cadence.
Open either Thunderbird mail or Firefox browser.
Select an action that will open a new window.
Crash will occur. (NOTE: crashes will now occur in the background, using up all
of crash space but not showing in user notifications)
Restart of kwin (win_x11 --crashes 1) is automatic (not instigated by myself)

Still cannot install kwin debug so setting up sysky debug instead. I did a
