I have something similar, but only Dolphin seems to be affected.
Whenever I write a file to whatever filesystem (I tested my SSD, HDD and
Network Share) Dolphin becomes unresponsive/freezes for several seconds.
* Open a file with Kate
* Change some characters
* Save
* Go back to dolphin
* No UI update for several seconds
