These aren't generic "dark/light" toggles; they're simply quick shortcuts to
the Breeze Dark and Breeze Light global themes. So when you use a different
global theme, you're not using Breeze Dark or Breeze Light, so neither is
selected.
This seems to cause a lot of confusion, so maybe we should rename them to their
real names, not generic "dark" and "light".
