Workaround: 1. install Flatseal from flathub and open it 2. select your gtk app 5. scroll down to 'Filesystem' section 4, enable 'All user files' However, this does not work with all gtk apps. Audacity and Deluge torrent client, for example, are still using incorrect mouse pointer.
