SUMMARY
When locking the screen using the ctrl+alt+L hotkey or the shortcut e.g. in the
user switcher applet, it takes several seconds for the screen to actually lock
and for the the lock screen to appear.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Lock the screen (e.g. using ctrl+alt+L)
OBSERVED RESULT
It takes several seconds for the screen to lock.
EXPECTED RESULT
The screen locks immediately.
