STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a new file to a project and add some text in it
2. Open the git toolview and stage the untracked file
3. Use Show Diff on the staged file
OBSERVED RESULT
Empty diff view
EXPECTED RESULT
The right part of the diff view should show the new file content, the left part
should stay empty
