Hi,

What's going on here is that your image is too large to save with your current
computer. The reason why resetting your computer works is because that clears
up working memory, which allows for saves to be completed. Technically, you
*could*, when working on this file, only have Krita open so your computer has
the working memory necessary. Far more recommended however is to cut down the
file size, either by merging layers, splitting up the scene, or resizing the
image to a smaller resolution.

We don't impose hard limits because we haven't found a good way that doesn't
hamper the animation workflow. What we do have is a little indicator at the
bottom that goes from the highlight color, to yellow, to red as the file gets
larger. When it's red, you will want to start simplifying the file somehow,
because at that point these kind of memory related problems start to appear.
