Bug ID: 464447
Summary: The first stroke immediately after swapping layers
always looks as if drawn with maximum pressure
Classification: Applications
Product: krita
Version: 5.1.5
Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: Layer Stack
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
SUMMARY
***
Normally the pressure I'm applying on my drawing tablet (one by wacom) is
interpreted just fine.
But when I swap some layers by dragging a layer into another position in the
layer stack and then draw a stroke immediately afterwards, it looks as if drawn
with maximum pressure. This only affects the first stroke and happens only if
the swapping is done by dragging and dropping (not when using the "move layer
or mask up/down" buttons).
***
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create a new krita file
2. press 'Ins' to add a new layer on top of the layer stack
3. swap the newly created layer to the middle of the layer stack by dragging it
one slot down with the mouse
4. (make sure you have selected any brush)
5. without pressing/clicking/selecting anything else, immediately draw a stroke
with low pressure on the canvas
6. draw another stroke with the same pressure
OBSERVED RESULT
The stroke drawn in step 5 appears as if drawn with maximum pressure, while the
stroke in step 6 is lighter (as it should be).
EXPECTED RESULT
Stroke 5 should look the same as stroke 6.
