Bug ID: 464844 Summary: Windows become blurry when moved from one screen to another via a shortcut Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 5.26.5 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: multi-screen Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: phoenix_8...@hotmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I am using Plasma on X11. When opening a window on the laptop screen (15 inches, 1920x1200), and then moving it with a shortcut to the external monitor (24 inches, 1920x1080), the window text and elements become blurry. This only happens when the window is moved instantly via a shortcut. If instead I drag the window from the laptop screen to the external monitor, everything is fine. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a window on the laptop screen (I guess, any screen with a higher pixel density than the other screen would work) 2. Move the window to the lower-density screen with a shortcut. OBSERVED RESULT The window is now blurry on the other screen EXPECTED RESULT The window should adapt to the new pixel-density, and look normal SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 37 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
