When you are already connected to a network and you try to connect to a second
network concurrently, the nm applet renders a big gap in the network list.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect to a network (wait until fully connected)
2. Start connecting to a second network
3. While it's still connecting (waiting for dhcp), close and re-open the nm
applet

OBSERVED RESULT
There is a large gap between the previously connected network and the currently
connecting one

EXPECTED RESULT
The two networks to be one under each other
