I have no idea when it started since I haven't used the nightly builds for a
while.
I happened to find out it happens when I was trying to test the new text tool.
OS : Windows 10 (x64)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. disable(uncheck) Kinetic Scrolling in settings > general > tools
2. restart krita
OBSERVED RESULT
the splash screen appears, but Krita won't actually open
to reset : delete the kritarc
EXPECTED RESULT
there should be no problems
