SUMMARY
So the KDE appmenu has several sources to get its Appstarters from.
The regular userspace source is ~/.local/share/applications, while kmenuedit
puts the created appstarters to ~/.local/share/applications/ons
When editing an appstarter in a different directory, for example normally the
dir without "/ons" it causes duplicates and you have to delete the old file.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create an appstarter manually in the local dir
2. Edit the appstarter in kmenuedit
3. The appstarter appears twice, one is the new version
OBSERVED RESULT
The appstarters land in a different directory, which causes duplicates
EXPECTED RESULT
The appstarters should be updated in the ~/.local/share/applications dir
