SUMMARY
This is a feature available in Windows FancyZones. For example with three equal
vertical zones, holding shift and dragging the window to the edge of zones 1
and 2 will cause the window to expand across both zones 1 and 2. This provides
some more flexibility with the zones without needing to modify the layout each
time.
