SUMMARY
Bug #448668 has been fixed and switching virtual desktops works without leaving
by a single click.
However, it could be useful to directly switch a virtual desktop and to leave
the overview effect by a double click, similar to how the mechanics work* e.g.
in Dolphin: Single click = select, double click = open/enter a file or folder.
* Assuming "double click" is configured rather than "single click" to open
files.
