As a user, I suggest the same thing too. I am also using Creative Cloud from
Adobe, applications (photoshop etc) doesn't have version number att(In reply to

I think not attaching a version number makes sense since some people are
confused with version numbers and there is a working "self-update" mechanism
under Windows now.
