The one-to-one animation when switching virtual desktops using 4-finger or
3-finger swipe is linked to the slide desktop effect. I want to switch to a
virtual desktops instantly without animation when I use keyboard shortcuts or
by clicking on them in the pager but still want the smooth one-to-one animation
when using trackpad gesture.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Disable Slide desktop effect
2. switch between virtual desktops using 3-finger or 4-finger swipe
OBSERVED RESULT
Switches to new desktop at the end of the swipe without any animation
EXPECTED RESULT
The smooth one-to-one animation
