STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. copy a .jpg or .png file to desktop
2. try to open the copied file with double-click
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
nothing happens. I can open the same file with double-click via Dolphin. Also I
can open other files like .txt and .mkv
located on desktop.

EXPECTED RESULT
we can open any file located on desktop with double-click
