Bug ID: 470385
Summary: Hovering effect in application list doesn't follow
when scrolling
Classification: Plasma
Product: plasmashell
Version: 5.27.4
Platform: Neon
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: minor
Priority: NOR
Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: 1.0
SUMMARY
In Kickoff, the hovering effect doesn't follow the current mouse cursor
position when scrolling.
Since it doesn't affect the tooltip but only the hovering effect, and clicking
starts the correct application (under the mouse cursor), it's only a visual
bug.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Kickoff
2. Go to All Applications (or anywhere with a list of enough applications)
3. Place mouse cursor on application list
4. Scroll without moving the mouse
OBSERVED RESULT
The hovering effect doesn't follow the mouse cursor but the mouse position
before scrolling
EXPECTED RESULT
The hovering effect should follow the mouse cursor when scrolling, just as if
the mouse cursor is moved
