I will switch Windows build to the 0.27-maintenance branch until this situation is fixed to Exiv2 main branch. so, now we have a Q : why this report is for digiKam 8.0.0, where we use Exiv2 0.27-maintenance ? Note: how Exiv2 team can decide to drop this important unicode support code in the library ? I comment the Exiv2 report, wait and see a feedback, if any...
