Bug ID: 471226 Summary: opposite behavior of split view icon Classification: Applications Product: dolphin Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: split view Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: christopher.m.brae...@gmail.com CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** I like the split view feature in dolphin very much and I use it very often. I also use the one-click method to open folders or start files (no double-click). I often use the split view feature to copy files or folders. My wish is, that the behavior of the icon in the toolbar reacts the other way. For example: If I copy a file from the left side to the right side, then the right side is remembered by the icon as to close if I click the split view icon again to close split view. In my opinion, it should be exacly the other way, that the left side (the side I copied from) is closed and not the side I copied the file into. This would be a great help! The problem is, that I have to activate the left side again first to close it. But as I use one-click, it is sometimes hard to not activate something in the left side, I don't want. I hope my english and my text is understandable. Thanks! *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
