Hi, thanks for the report.
The crash is unrelated to editing / saving files. The crash happened because
for some reason we had a stale widget pointer in the list, which was accessed
and we crashed. By widgets, I mean things like "Welcome Page", "Diff viewer" or
anything other than the editor that you can interact with.
- Do you recall interacting with any "widget" prior to the crash?
- Did you have multiple kate windows open?
- What plugins do you enable?
