Is this issue considered to be resolved in 3.0.1?
Because I can confirm this problem on windows 7 with Krita 3.0.1
On a 2048 x 2048 px image, if I create a new paint layer and draw with the
brush, it's fine. However, if I create 4 nested groups with a paint layer
within the last group when I make a brush stroke there's a severe lag.
