Bug ID: 473125 Summary: Switching between System Settings pages with a stylus doesn't work most of the time in Plasma 6 Classification: Applications Product: systemsettings Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: guimarcalsi...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 160818 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160818&action=edit System settings refuses click from a stylus most of the time - Other apps like Dolphin are unaffected SUMMARY Clicks on System Settings are not registered most of the time when using a Stylus in Plasma 6. Switching categories with a stylus works in Plasma 5 (though there's another related bug that affects Plasma 5 and 6 - I'll report it shortly). Clicking changes the highlight color of the menu item but it doesn't actually switch to a new page most of the time. Check the attached video for more details. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use a Stylus with a drawing tablet (not a finger) 2. Open System Settings and try to click on the menus by touching the stylus on the drawing tablet OBSERVED RESULT It looks like it selects the list item but it doesn't actually click most of the time. You have to click many times to register a click EXPECTED RESULT Touching the stylus on the drawing tablet should be registered as a click, like in all other apps SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.240.0 Qt Version: 6.6.0 Kernel Version: 5.19.0-50-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 6 × Intel® Core™ i5-9400F CPU @ 2.90GHz Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD Radeon RX 570 Series ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Tested on a Live session -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
