Bug ID: 473274
Summary: Effects (eg. transform, crop, greyscale) randomly
skipped within nested sequences
Classification: Applications
Product: kdenlive
Version: 23.04.3
Platform: openSUSE
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: major
Priority: NOR
Component: Effects & Transitions
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
Flags: MOVIT-, timeline_corruption+
Using the new sequences feature of kdenlive 23.04 for the first time on a
project with 390 clips and a master timeline linking 12 sequences together.
Playing the master leads to many missing transform and a greyscale effects,
while they were still present and working in the source sequences. Trying to
rebuild the master didn't help. At the end nearly all transform effects were
broken in the master. So as a workaround I copied all the clips from all of the
sequences to a new sequence and get it rendered without problems. I tried to
reproduce the bug on a small amount of clips but didn't "succeed".
Nevertheless: I would be happy if this great feature would be usable in the
near future. Thanks a lot!
BTW: Switching the sequence tabs sometimes causes kdenlive to crash.
