You're not wrong, but this bug report is reporting a bunch of different issues,
and that's going to make it un-actionable, I'm afraid. See

for more explanation.
Please submit a new bug report for the "Could not install dependency" issue,
another one for the "I get "Error: Connection Closed" dialogues often" issue,
and a third one for "and most of the time Plasma Settings crashes upon
launching after doing this" issue.
