STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open preferences
2. choose what you want to see in metadat pannel (on right)
3. go back to read metada of a picture
OBSERVED RESULT
nothing change after click ok, all metadata (exif, etc.) are always present
EXPECTED RESULT
only my choice should be present

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Mac min late 2012, ventura with OpenCoreLegacy patcher.
It was the same with, at less, digikam 7 and with macos Monterey and perhaps, I
don't remember, with oldre system.
